New Baltimore Rescue 1

1992 Pierce Dash powered by a 250 horse Cummings Diesel.  It holds 300-gallons of water with a 400-gallon a minute pump.  R 1 has two pre connects in the front bumper each holding inch and three quarter hand lines.  R 1 holds all the firefighters turn out gear as well as the ice rescue suits.  R 1 responds to all fires and motor vehicle accidents. 

R 1 carries the “Jaws of Life” and other extrication equipment.  R 1 is also a Medical First Responder unit carrying medical equipment and an  A.E.D. During a major incident R 1 can be used as a mobile command post.

New Baltimore Rescue 2

2000 Ford F 550 four door with Pierce box powered by a 7.3 litre Power Stroke Turbo Diesel.  This is our primary medical response vehicle.  R 2 carries back boards, C spine collars, oxygen, medical equipment and an A.E.D.  R 2 does not transport patients to area hospitals. The city of New Baltimore uses Medstar ambulance for Para Medic services and transportation.  R 2 has a mobile SCBA refilling unit capable of refilling thirty air bottles at one fire scene.  R 2 also carries equipment to handle small Haz Mat spills.

New Baltimore Engine 1 

1986 Pierce Arrow powered by a 350 horse Detroit Diesel. E 1 holds 1000 gallons of water and has a 1250-gallon a minute pump.  E 1 carries 1000 feet of four-inch supply line and another 1000 feet of two and a half inch supply line.  E 1 has two pre-connect cross lays; one compartment is 150 feet of inch and three quarters hand line.  The second compartment is 200 feet of inch and a half hand line.  E 1 also carries a booster reel in the rear. E 1 is one of three Medical First Responder units New Baltimore operates.

New Baltimore Truck 1

2000 Pierce Dash 85 foot platform powered by a series 60 500 horse Detroit Diesel.  T 1 is an all wheel steer truck that makes driving in smaller city streets easier.  T 1 has a 300-gallon water tank with a 2000-gallon a minute pump. T 1 has a hose capacity of 1000 feet of four-inch supply.  T 1 also carries 350 feet of inch and three quarter hand line.  T 1 also carries ground ladders ranging from 10 to 35 feet and an assortment of pike poles.  T 1 has a six person enclosed air condition cab with intercom system.  SCBA compartments are built into the four rear seats.  T 1 also has a 7.5 k. diesel generator built in to the apparatus.

19' 8"  powered by a Mercury 115 hp ELPTO 2 stroke outboard engine.  Rated at 3000 Lbs or 16 crewmembers/rescue victims. Increased deck space for patient care. Garmin 188 Color GPS & Depth Sounder.  Emergency lighting and Sirens.  Marine Radio and County Fire Band Radio.
